Operation Finally Home Welcomes
David Drew as Senior Vice President of Operations
NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas (March 15, 2022) — Operation Finally Home is pleased to announce the appointment of David Drew as Senior Vice President of Operations. Drew previously served as a member of the Operation Finally Home Advisory Board.
“David is a proven leader and a consummate professional,” said Rusty Carroll, President. “His industry knowledge and know-how, combined with his deep passion for helping people, will be valuable assets as we seek to serve veterans, first responders and their families.”
In this role, Drew will provide leadership to all Operation Finally Home projects, including project budget development, management and execution. In addition, Drew will help to foster relationships with builders, contractors, suppliers and others who support the mission of Operation Finally Home.
Drew, who got his start in the residential building industry, brings more than 30 years of experience to his role. Most recently, he served as the Director of Product Development at MiTek. Prior to that, Drew played an instrumental role in revitalizing ElectraLink, the largest commercial low voltage technology installation company in Texas, where he served as the Vice President for Sales and Marketing. Drew also previously served as the Technical Sales Manager at LP Building Products from 1997-2012, helping to revitalize the TechShield radiant barrier brand during his tenure. Driven by a desire for innovation and development, Drew has a wide variety of industry roles throughout his career, including sales, marketing, operations and more.
Drew also brings a wealth of experience in home modifications to Operation Finally Home. From 2007-2011, Drew served as the president of Rebuilding Together, a Nashville nonprofit devoted to helping low-income residents with repairs that ensure their homes are safer, more energy efficient, comfortable and affordable. With Drew at the helm in 2011, the nonprofit completed nearly 150 home modifications in one year as they worked to help families devastated by the historic 2010 Nashville flood, an increase from 16 projects per year prior to the disaster.
“I love the mission of Operation Finally Home and am excited to step into this role,” Drew said. “It is a blessing to be a part of an organization that honors America’s veterans, first responders and their families through mortgage-free homes, home modifications and transitional housing.”
