NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas (August 10, 2020) – Operation FINALLY HOME was awarded the GY20-21 Fund for Veterans’ Assistance (FVA) grant from the Texas Veterans Commission (TVC), for the second consecutive year. The grant, which totals $250,000, will help Operation FINALLY HOME further its mission of providing home modifications for wounded, ill and injured veterans and widows of the fallen by supporting 16 home modification projects throughout Texas. Since 2014, the TVC has awarded Operation FINALLY HOME $800,000 in grants.
To date, Operation FINALLY HOME has more than 275 home projects completed or in planning stages in over 30 states.
“Our mission has always been to turn our hero’s hardships into safe and accessible homes, and through partnerships like these, we’re able to see that goal come to fruition,” said Dan Wallrath, Operation FINALLY HOME Founder. “Being selected to receive this generous grant from the Texas Veterans Commission is truly an honor and will go a long way in helping veterans across the great state of Texas.”
The Texas Veterans Commission Fund for Veterans’ Assistance (FVA) grants are awarded to non-profit organizations and government agencies for specific services they provide veterans and their families.
