U.S. Army WWII Veteran Ralph Ellis
U.S. Army veteran Ralph Ellis served as a military police officer in Germany during World War II.
Ellis, who enlisted in the Army in 1944, is part of a group known as the ‘Greatest Generation’ veterans who fearlessly served our country through the biggest and deadliest war in history.
For his service, Ellis received awards including a Good Conduct Medal, Victory Ribbon, EAME Campaign Ribbon with 3 Bronze Stars, Army of Occupation Ribbon (Germany) and 3 Overseas Service Bars.
Ellis currently lives with his daughter in Georgetown, Texas. At 93 years old, he struggles with safely maneuvering various elements in his home’s bathroom. Operation FINALLY HOME along with Henley Homes, Inc. and H-E-B’s Operation Appreciation are excited to provide the Ellis family with a safe and accessible home in Georgetown, Texas.
